This is very important and the first step only takes a moment to complete.
Zilker needs to know who plans to attend our school so they can plan for proper staffing. This also really helps with the consolidation with Becker and how we welcome our new kiddos and families.

Field Day – Zilker Summer Olympics
We’re excited for our annual Field Day—also known as the Zilker Summer Olympics—on Friday, May 1! Students will participate during the school day at the following times:
Pre-K: 8:00–8:30 AM
K–2nd Grade: 9:00–11:00 AM
3rd–5th Grade: 12:00–3:00 PM
Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on our athletes! We are also looking for volunteers to support classroom teachers and help run games throughout the day.
Be on the lookout for communication from your child’s teacher to find out which country your homeroom will represent in the 2026 Zilker Olympic Games!
Art Show is Thursday, May 14
And Ms. Sullivan needs help putting on another amazing show!
There are a number of volunteer spots throughout the week of May 11. Some are straightforward (hanging black paper), others specifically request "artistic people wo can make art, paint and build." You know who you are! Here's the chance to make something fun at Zilker :)

AISD School Closure/ Consolidations:
The new plan has been released, Zilker is slated to stay open, our boundaries have shifted and we are working to digest the changes and craft a response. Please read our consolidations page and stay engaged as we navigate this together.

Be sure to stop by Odd Duck to see Jabo's Garden listed on the menu as a supplier of ingredients!
