The PTA is a volunteer organization with the purpose to improve the school experience for Zilker students, staff, and the broader community.

We hope to see everyone Thursday for our Annual STEAM Night and Science Fair.

5:00-6:30 with activities throughout campus and science fair projects in the cafeteria!

To be part of the Science Fair, all projects MUST be turned in by Wednesday, January 14

If your student is participating in the science fair, you will have a chance to view their project at our S.T.E.A.M. night--Thursday January 15th in the evening from 5:00-6:30 p.m.

The judging portion will occur in the morning during school hours, and winners will be announced Friday, January 16th!

Request for Paper Grocery Bags for Winter Art Portfolios

Dear Families,

We’re getting ready to send home your child’s artwork from the year so far, just in time for winter break! To help us safely package and transport all of their wonderful creations, we’re asking each family to please send in paper grocery bags, as many as you can!

These bags will be used to create winter art portfolios for each student. Please send them in by the first week of December so we have time to prepare.

Grounds Updates:

Portables Shade!

New Benches
With the help of local Eagle Scouts lead by Zilker graduate, Martin Bludworth, we now have 8 new metal benches. They also repaired all of the wooden benches around campus, painted others, and removed the old PTA shed in Jabo's Garden.

Outdoor Stage
The outdoor stage has been power washed and stained to preserve it.
